You need to "reply to all" that although you appreciate her updates about the reunion and you respect her hard work and organization, you think that the "extras" are inappropriate. Or you could reply to all with your own (and much more well-thought out and well-written) rebutals to all of her nonsense.

oh my god.
Oh my god.
One more time.
Oh my god.
A, is she actually using the school newsletter as her political whipping post?
B, can you tell her where to shove it?
C, I'd go to my reunion SOLELY to tell her that.

I have never been to a HS reunion either. If you aren't going there with the intention of catching up with once upon a time good friends that you somehow lost touch of OR once again meeting your one and only love with whom you failed to connect with the first time you crossed paths in life -- then really, why bother?

Clearly, this student self elected moral majority person has little in her life to truly inspire her or bring her joy or any true meaning -- the newsletters are probably the highlight of her existence. I would totally rebuttal on the issue of using the school newsletter as her personal venue for discussing things that are clearly not alum related (if you actually think this would make her have a V-8 moment and STOP DOING IT). I wouldn't feel strongly enough to go there in person -- or if I did then I DEFINITELY wouldn't go there in person. I think they throw people in the slammer in your hometown for beating on people -- much like they do in NYC.

Plus I got no bail money for you -- so don't come calling me. ;)
